Trump rage tweets, rants after SNL makes fun of his Twitter habits

Saturday Night Live poked fun of Donald Trump’s twitter habits this week, portraying the president-elect retweeting random people instead of sitting through a security briefing.

“There is a reason actually that Donald tweets so much,” Kate McKinnon, playing Trump’s campaign manager, says in the sketch. “He does it to distract the media from his business conflicts and all the very scary people in his cabinet.”

“Actually, that’s not why I do it,” Alec Baldwin, as Trump responds. “I do it because my brain is bad.” Baldwin’s Donald face continues to be completely on point.

Of course, our tiny-handed, easily offended soon-to-be president sent out a rage tweet about Saturday Night Live, saying “the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse” (WRONG! It can’t get any better, Donald.)

Trump continued his twitter-ranting this morning on a different topic, saying companies that move out of the U.S. will face “retribution” and high taxes. The tweets appear to be in part a response to a deal with a company that makes A.C. units called Carrier. Indiana officials offered the company $7 million in tax credits to keep jobs from going to Mexico and Trump has taken credit for the deal.

The deal has been heavily criticized by progressives and conservatives alike. Senator Bernie Sanders says it sets a troubling precedent of the government begging companies to stay in the U.S. Even Sarah Palin criticized the deal, calling it “crony capitalism.”
