UK activists stage face-sitting sit-in (sit-on?) to protest anti-porn laws

Sit-ins, walk-outs, throw-downs — but sit-ons? Protesters in London are trying a new method to get the government’s attention: “face-sittings.”

Hundreds of porn activists gathered today outside London’s Parliament to put their crotches where (someone else’s) mouth is to protest a new set of anti-pornography laws passed earlier this month. The controversial regulations ban a long and steamy list of sex acts from appearing in UK-produced pornography.

These taboo acts include many BDSM practices such as whipping, strangulation and “face-sitting,” all of which are considered “potentially life-threatening” under the new restrictions. Also banned: anything involving a combination of urination and sexual activity. (So what’s left?)

To push back against the porn scorn, protesters took their bedroom behavior to the streets with a good old fashion mass face-sitting:
