Watch Nicki Minaj freak out over meeting Lauryn Hill

While both artists were at the Tidal X: 1015 concert in Brooklyn Saturday night, Nicki Minaj and Lauryn Hill met for what appears to be the first time. Minaj, appropriately, freaked out.

“The QUEEN. Goddess! The epitome! The bar! The *faints*,” Minaj wrote in her Instagram caption. “Ms Lauryn Hill told me to keep ‘spittin dat fire’. Is this real life!????”

In the video, Minaj drops to her knees as Hill enters the room—as we all would—and immediately begins bowing down. “No, no, no, no, please,” she said. “I’m in love with you!” she said, holding Hill’s hand.
