Watch this killer judge laugh Donald Trump's Nevada voting lawsuit out of court

Presumably fearful of losing Nevada, a crucial swing state, the Trump campaign filed a lawsuit Monday night alleging that there were polling place “anomalies,” according to an The Associated Press report. The campaign was concerned that polls were kept open later than usual last week so that people waiting on line in some areas of Clark County—a Latinx-heavy area that is home to Las Vegas—could vote. Trump himself darkly hinted that this was a Democratic conspiracy to illegally tilt the election to Hillary Clinton.

On Tuesday, a lawyer from the campaign argued that the judge should “preserve records from several voting spots” in Clark County. This lawsuit would, potentially, make the identity of poll workers in Clark County public, and theoretically make voters’ choices public down the line.

Judge Gloria Sturman was not having it.

“I am not going to expose people doing their civic duty to help their fellow citizens vote…to public attention, ridicule and harassment,” Judge Sturman said. “That is offensive to me because it seems to go against the very principle that a vote is secret.”
