We merged the faces of all 28 'Bachelor' contestants into TV's ultimate American beauty

Latest

Consider this post a Bachelor spoiler, but not the kind you’re probably expecting. The 20th season, starring Bachelorette alum Ben Higgins, premieres tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. (Fusion is a joint venture of ABC and Univision.) Ben will look for love within a carefully curated harem of 28 single women, who number two teachers, two bartenders, a veteran, a mathematician, a cowgirl, a “chicken enthusiast,” and a pair of twins among their ranks. (To see all 19 Bachelors—including Higgins—merged into one face, click here.)

The vast majority of these contestants are white. Their median age is 25. They are uniformly slim and conventionally attractive. With the help of the Multi Face Blender app, we put them all together.

If this year’s Bachelor winner were a mathematical average of the entire cast, this is what she’d look like.

Hmm. A little bit Shakira, a little bit D.J. Tanner.

Last summer, we face-merged all 11 past Bachelorette stars—we were surprised to see this hypothetical woman, our über-Bachelor contestant, appears noticeably younger. (Apparently that isn’t just our imagination: How Old Robot, a Microsoft app that analyzes photos to determine the subjects’ age, pegged them at 31 and 23, respectively.)
