We want to see your raggedy old bras

How often do you do laundry? Once a week? Okay, I know for a fact that you’re lying because no one has exactly seven pairs of underwear, and who the hell does laundry until they’re completely out of underwear?

No matter how often you wash your clothes, there is one garment that is notoriously under-washed: the bra. That’s right, ladies. We may shudder thinking about wearing underwear for more than a day, but for some reason, many of us go weeks or months without washing our bras.

Instead of harboring this fact as a secret shame, we’d like to take a moment to embrace it in all its realness. We cherish our ratty-ass bras, and we want to see yours. Yes, yes, there’s a reason for this request—we’re planning an upcoming story about how often we really need to wash our bras, and want to hear (and see) your thoughts on the matter. How often do you wash your own bras? What do you consider good bra hygiene? Just how gnarly is your everyday garment?
